Product Description

 Pleated Air Filter

Pleated air filter is a common primary filtration device usually used in ventilation system. It mainly capture large particles in the air, such as dust, pollen, fiber, and etc. Its function is to protect medium and HEPA filter at the back end.

1.   Structure and Material
Filter media:

Usually adopt synthetic fiber( for example, polyester fiber), the filtration are is increased by pleating through  a speicial process, and the dust holding capacity and air permeability are improved.  The surface is covered by a protective net(usually a metal mesh), used to prevent fiber detachment or breakage, and enhance structural stability.

Outer frame selection:

cardboard frame, economical and lightweight, suitable for dry environments or single-use scenarios.

Galvanized iron frame: Corrosion-resistant and durable, suitable for damp or long-term use scenarios.

Aluminum frame: Light in weight and highly resistant to corrosion, it is often used in high-demand environments such as clean rooms and hospitals.

2.Efficiency

Of this type, the G4 (EN779/ISO16890) efficiency filter is used more frequently, it can filter particles of ≥5μm.
