The Ultra Low Penetration Air Filter (ULPA) is a high-performance air purification device capable of filtering more than 99.999% (for particles ranging from 0.1 to 0.3 microns). Its filtration efficiency far exceeds that of HEPA filters (typically 99.97% @ 0.3μm).
Ultra HEPA Filter uses ultra-fine glass fiber filter paper or PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) membrane as the core filtering material. It captures extremely tiny particles, including viruses, bacteria, smoke and sub-micron dust, through multiple mechanisms such as inertial collision, interception, diffusion and electrostatic adsorption.
ULPA filters are typically used in places with extremely high requirements for air cleanliness, such as semiconductor clean rooms, biological laboratories, sterile pharmaceutical workshops, precision instrument manufacturing, and nuclear facilities (ISO 1 to 3 cleanliness standards), to ensure the harsh environmental demands of dust-free and sterile environments. Its structure needs to be coordinated with a low-leakage sealing frame (such as aluminum alloy or stainless steel) and strict wind speed control to avoid secondary pollution and maintain stable performance.
