Principle
When the transfer window is set between the clean room and the non-clean room, that is, when the object is passed from the non-clean room to the clean room, the ordinary transfer window cannot completely prevent the pollutants from entering, although the two doors cannot be opened at the same time, but nearly half of the volume of polluted air in the transfer window enters the clean room.
Therefore, when objects are passed from a non-clean room to a clean room, or from an area of low cleanliness to an area of high cleanliness, the ordinary transfer window cannot play a good role in preventing pollution, and a clean transfer window should be set up in this case.
The clean transfer window is actually a high efficiency filter and fan unit added to the ordinary transfer window, making the air inside the box form a self-circulation, when the non-purified air flow enters the transfer window with the item passing process, the pollution is eliminated through the dilution effect of clean airflow, when the clean room (or a higher cleanliness area) opens another door, no pollution will be produced.
Some of the items to be passed may have micro-organisms and other contaminants on their surfaces, which cannot be sterilised by the dilution of clean airflow, so they need to be sterilised, so it is necessary to install a sterilising transfer window, i.e. a UV lamp inside the box, etc. When the surface of the object to be passed needs to be sterilised, the UV lamp can be opened for sterilisation after the transfer door and window have been closed.
