Product Description

Pleated carbon filter is an effective way to remove and prevent odors and fume. It is widely used in the air conditioners.

Fold the activated carbon materials and then support it by the paperboard sheets, metal meshes and other sheet to maintain the rigidity structure. Surround the pleated carbon filter with paperboard, aluminum alloy or galvanized frames. The firm frame can extend the service life of the pleated carbon filter. Additional, the frame can make the pleated carbon filter be installed on the machines or air conditioners easily.

• The support layer is mainly used for maintaining the shape of the pleated carbon filter and ensuring the durability and firmness.
• The support layers of pleated carbon filter are various, such as the paperboard strip, expanded metal mesh, welded wire mesh and metal wire.
• The expanded metal paperboard layer is an entirety with the frame. It is much more economical.

Product Characteristics

1. Efficiently adsorb harmful substances
High iodine value activated carbon (such as coconut shell carbon or coal-based carbon) is adopted to adsorb gaseous pollutants such as formaldehyde, benzene, and TVOC, as well as odors and smoke, with a purification efficiency of over 90%.
2. Enhance the permeability of air flow
Activated carbon filter adopts pleated (corrugated) design to increase the contact area and reduce the wind resistance, balance the filtration effect and air loss of air conditioning/fresh air system.
3. The composite structure is highly durable
The surface is covered with a metal mesh and polyester fiber protective layer to prevent the activated carbon particles from falling off, extend the service life, and adapt to higher wind speed environments (such as commercial central air conditioners).
